How it started

Planning is the product.

I'm Kyler Kirkpatrick, and Kirkpatrick Floors carries my family name. My reputation stands behind it. I've spent years in the flooring and tile industry, with a background in commercial estimating, project management, and construction.

That experience taught me one thing above all. The difference between a beautiful finish and a successful project is decided long before installation begins. It comes down to the planning, and I don't mean a quick measurement and a quote. Every detail gets worked out before a single box is ordered. The measurements, the materials, the transitions, and how each piece is prepped and installed.

We take the time to understand your space. What the subfloor looks like, how moisture moves through it, how the light changes through the day, how you actually live in the room, and how Florida's humidity and heat will affect different materials over time. Then we choose something that genuinely fits, and every part of it gets documented and planned before anything is ordered and before the work begins.

So when installation day comes, there are no surprises.

We start with a conversation about your space, your light, and how you actually live there. Then I pull samples that fit, not hundreds of options, just the ones that genuinely work. We narrow it down together until you feel confident in the choice.
